Our Team Ian FoxIan is the Principal Director of the training company M3T Ltd. After serving in the Army, he left to pursue a career in retail management. In 1992 he “retired” from the world of work and returned to DeMontfort University. He read Business Information Systems and achieved BSc Hon (2:1). It was during this period that his involvement with the night-time economy began. Since graduating in 1997, Ian has held nearly every possible post in the sector, with the exception of licensee.
He has been Director of Communications for the Institute of Conflict Management since Jan 2008 and has made an undoubted contribution to the process of developing the profile of the ICM. He is now heavily involved in developing a National Door-watch association which is aimed at positively promoting the image, professionalism, health & safety, and education of ordinary Door Supervisors. Ruth GoldsworthyRuth is the Operations Director for M3T Ltd. After leaving the Military Police she began a career in the Security Sector and has worked her way up from Mobile Guard to senior positions with a number of blue-chip companies. Her structured, organised, no nonsense approach enables her to deliver significant results in the Loss Prevention Arena. It is in this sector, especially investigations where Ruth is already providing consultancy at both a personal and company level. Ruth is committed to providing high quality customer service and giving opportunities for all levels of development; recently completing a TEFL course to enable support for those who have English as a second language. Notwithstanding this Ruth has also managed to find the time to start a Business Management degree and undertake her ICM Physical Skills Tutor’s Award. |
